MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

It is such an honor and a privilege to be serving as president at such a time as this. We have a phenomenal student body--future world-changers seeking to bring hope and healing to a broken world. I recently taught a series in chapel on Generation Z--what I believe will be the most impactful generation ever. Gen Z, those born between 1995 and 2012, is now the largest in the United States and the largest represented at ORU. These students have such a passion and fervor for God and a strong desire to leave their mark on this earth. Thank you for partnering with us to help these young men and women pursue their purpose and the calling that God has on their lives. I know we are going to hear amazing testimonies from these students in the years to come.

This year's freshman fall-to-spring retention rate is 95.5%!

PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE IN D.C.

A big thank-you to everyone who attended the President’s Circle Retreat in Washington, D.C. this month! Each year, President and Mrs. Wilson host two retreats with President’s Circle members. We always have a wonderful time connecting with friends of the university. We’d love to see more ORU friends at our next retreat, so we invite you to become a member of ORU’s President's Circle. Members support ORU through prayer and with gifts of $10,000 or more each year. For more information, contact ORU Development at 918.495.7220 or development@oru.edu.

MICHELE BACHMANN AT ORU CHAPEL

We are honored to have former U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann as a special guest speaker in chapel on Wednesday, April 11. If you are in the Tulsa area, we would love to have you join us in Christ’s Chapel at 10:50 a.m. If you are unable to make it, we invite you to watch live at oru.edu/chapel.

ORU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP DINNER UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who was a part of the ORU Alumni Association Student Scholarship Dinner last month! Contributions and matching funds will impact both the Last Mile and Quest Whole Person scholarships with $200,000, which will touch the lives of so many students. Incoming students can focus on all God has for them here at ORU, and some of those preparing to graduate can be relieved of a financial burden—ready to go wherever God sends them!
