SEMINAR - Dealing with Whistleblowing and the new Data Protection Regulations
TAKE ACTION
Whistleblowing

The term whistleblowing can be defined as raising a concern about a wrong doing within an organisation. The concern must be a genuine concern about a crime, criminal offence, miscarriage of justice, dangers to health and safety and of the environment – And the cover up of any of these. It is in the interest of every organization that an employee’s first port of call is the organization itself and having a policy to this effect is fundamental.

The Benefits
In-house training has the potential to positively impact employee learning and development. It is a cost effective, encouraged, effective method for training of your employees. Such training is provided at the work place, from informal or formal coaches and mentors, during internal seminars, or conferences. Such training can be custom made to address the specific needs of the company and employees whilst exposing the employees to practices, regulations and policies which may further enhance their development. Twenty One Law offers a number of In-house training sessions on a number of topics, others can be custom made according to the employer’s request.

Welcome

Busy and exciting times ahead for 21 law. We are moving office and we have a number of projects in the pipeline and one of these is the launch of our newsletter. Hope you enjoy reading it and do give us your feedback. We can now keep in touch with you with the latest news on employment law as well as our events and much more.

We have been busy with various in house training requests and the benefits, as outlined in this newsletter, are many. We have also followed closely the debate on the equality marriage and in line with this we have an article on the proper use of language to help create a more inclusive society in the workplace.

Last but not least we are very much looking forward to our event on the 3rd October - this will deal with the latest hot topics - whistleblowing and the new data protection regulations. Seats are limited so get going with your booking.

We'll keep in touch and a special thanks to our sponsors for our October event.

Create a More Inclusive LGBT+ Society

Whilst changing a company’s work environment is neither an easy nor a quick thing to do, it’s often small gestures which are deeply appreciated by the LGBT+ community and will make a difference in their lives as well as the lives of people around them.

It is recommended that your company has an equality and diversity policy in place and Twenty One law can assist with this.
