The talk by Dr Ann Benson was attended by over 50 people last Friday.  It gave a detailed and informative account of the history of Raglan Castle,  an important part of our national heritage, which most of us pass regularly without giving a thought to its rich and colourful history.  The presentation was enthusiastically enjoyed by everyone.  Our thanks go to Dr Benson for giving up her time to share the Castle’s secrets with us.

Rest assured that we will be trying our best to get Ann to come back again,  perhaps to share an insight into the subject of her latest book,  Troy House,  which lies just to the south of Monmouth.  Those interested can find out more on her website by clicking
here where you will find details of this book and her other publications.
