NWCG Website Outage
March 1-4, 2019

The NWCG website will be down Friday, March 1 through Monday, March 4, 2019.

The United States Department of Agriculture National Information Technology Center (USDA/NITC), which hosts the NWCG website, is performing construction on its Data Center to improve services. This outage is non-negotiable and will not be changed due to incident activity. All efforts will be made to expedite this effort; however, please plan for the full window of time listed.

The NWCG training website at 
https://onlinetraining.nwcg.gov/ is not affected.

National Wildfire Coordinating Group
Our mission is to provide national leadership to enable interoperable wildland fire operations among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.  NWCG operations standards are interagency by design; they are developed with the intent of universal adoption by the member agencies.  However, the decision to adopt and utilize them is made independently by the individual member agencies and communicated through their respective directives systems.
