Medical Kit Changes for
2019 Field Season
Starting during the 2019 field season, incident medical equipment supplied through the National Interagency Support Cache (NISC) system will transition from numbers-based ordering (100 and 500 person kits) to needs-based ordering.

The changes to how incident medical kits are ordered is intended to provide updated and appropriate medical equipment and supplies that are scalable to meet the needs of T3 and T1 incidents.

National Wildfire Coordinating Group
Our mission is to provide national leadership to enable interoperable wildland fire operations among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.  NWCG operations standards are interagency by design; they are developed with the intent of universal adoption by the member agencies.  However, the decision to adopt and utilize them is made independently by the individual member agencies and communicated through their respective directives systems.
