ETC Equipment Advisory 22-01: Inspection of 3,000 lb. Cargo Nets

EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE (ETC)

Issue: All NFES #000531 cargo nets, 3,000 lb., as manufactured by CONSOLIDATED CORDAGE, should be inspected for net completion.

An estimated 260 cargo nets, 3,000 lb. (NFES #000531; NSN #1670-01-029-8556) may have been affected. The perimeter ropes on these nets may not have the required abrasion resistant polyurethane coating or may be missing the perimeter rope altogether.
