Feedback Requested on Electronic Documentation (eDoc Box)

DEADLINE: January 9, 2022

IPS has drafted standards and a filing structure for electronic records (eDoc Box). The materials are available on the IPS webpage and were built into each FireNet incident this year for immediate use by IMTs.

Feedback on these standards and associated structure must be submitted through NWCG's Publication Review Form. Comments and suggestions will be reviewed by IPS and integrated into the NWCG Standards for Electronic Documentation (eDoc) this spring.

National Wildfire Coordinating Group

Our mission is to provide national leadership to enable interoperable wildland fire operations among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners. NWCG operations standards are interagency by design; they are developed with the intent of universal adoption by the member agencies. However, the decision to adopt and utilize them is made independently by the individual member agencies and communicated through their respective directives systems.
