RDAMNC and Business NSW - Mobile Office Initiative - What game changing projects are you passionate about for your town? How do you think the region’s local councils can improve how they work together? What are the defining features of the Mid North Coast and what can we strengthen to help make a better future?
RDAMNC and Business NSW want to hear answers to these questions and other ideas from business owners, managers and community leaders over the next few months.
The organisations are working in collaboration and will be travelling throughout the region setting up a mobile office in a different town each week.
Mobile offices will be covid-friendly and access is by appointment only. There are six individual appointments available and an option for a focus group with up to ten people.
Next week: Wednesday 2nd September, the first mobile office will be held in Urunga.
Bookings are essential and can be accessed - HERE

Employment Strategy - Working Group - The first working group, the Macleay Valley Coast Tourism / Hospitality Group is up and running
The group is led by Marlyn Breen, Economic Development & Tourism Coordinator at Kempsey Shire Council.
“The establishment of the Macleay Valley Coast Hospitality and Tourism Working Group involving representatives from education, industry and government has the ability to really focus on the on-ground issues facing our local tourism sector in Kempsey.”  said Marlyn.
“Tourism is a key industry for our region, and it needs the access to well trained staff who can regain employment and support our local businesses to meet the demand that will come from future increased domestic visitor numbers.”
The initiative is seen as an opportunity to focus on the development of hospitality and tourism training to highlight employment in the sector as a career choice rather than a short-term employment option.
“It is my hope that the challenges our community has suffered recently will be addressed by a new focus on developing a strong workforce for our locals and our future.” said Marlyn.
