T Works' vision is to create and celebrate a culture of hobbyists, makers, and innovators in India. The mission is not just to provide infrastructure for makers but also to build a supportive community and ecosystem to reduce the barriers towards prototyping. This month's newsletter highlights some special initiatives, T Works has taken towards building this.
Maker Faire 2019, T Works is looking for volunteers to form a core team. Team members will be involved in a collaboration, decision making and organizing various activates in MFH 2019. The position is open to makers, artists, engineers, event managers, designers, marketers and anyone enthusiastic to commit time, promise to collaborate and is willing to work outside their comfort zones - You can apply to be part of the core team.
T WORKS PARTNERS WITH TSIC TO OPERATIONALISE ATAL TINKERING LABS
First step - Visiting Tinkering Lab in Jubilee Hills Public School
T Works collaborating with TSIC to facilitate to operationalize Atal Innovation Labs [ATL] in schools across the city. The program aims to connect local makerspaces with the ATL labs to conduct workshops, educate students and mentor instructors.
T Works team visited the ATL at Jubilee Hills Public School [JHPS] and Zilla Parishad High School [ZPHS] and built project (Obstacle avoiding Robot) using the ATL tools and inventory. This project helped in understanding the possibilities of projects can be built at ATL labs.T Works plans to use its learning and understanding to create a format to link Makerspaces with ATL labs and pilot this in certain schools across Hyderabad.

PEB structure is complete. Flooring 80% done. Concrete wall work is complete. Roofing and façade work to commence soon.
