January Mission of the Month
Life Ministries - Alternatives Medical Clinic
Sunday, January 19

During the month of January, St. Mark is supporting a non-profit Christian crisis pregnancy center in Escondido called Alternatives. January 19th is the Sanctity of Life! This is a time when we recognize that God has created all human life precious and valuable. This January also marks the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. We are praying for awareness in our congregation this month and look forward to hearing about all that the Lord does in the community during this time. Also, the clinic is in need of size “3” and size "5" diapers. If you would like to donate, bring diapers to church and place them in the collections box in the library by Sunday, January 26th.

Sunday School

Sunday School is a program designed to give children ages 0 through 6th grade an age-appropriate experience where they can learn about Jesus. Sunday School takes place every Sunday from 9 am to 9:45 am before our 10 am church service. Volunteers are needed to help with Sunday School. Opportunities include teaching, assisting, and helping with music. Please contact Cindy Postel at cpcalgal@aol.com or Kristen Beyer at kbeyer86@gmail.com for more information.

Jr. High Bible Study

The Junior High Bible class is for 6th grade and older and is geared for the older youth, answering questions about the Bible and giving a worldview perspective. The class meets from 9 am to 9:45 am Sunday mornings. Contact Melissa Clark at melischief22@gmail.com.

We Need Your Help!

We need several volunteers to assist with preparing and setting up Sunday morning treats as well as a clean-up crew after the church service. These volunteer positions play a vital role in the overall success of the church. Contact the church office.
