Many thanks to everyone who joined us last night for The Spark crowdfunding dinner party. With your support, we were able to raise a $500 microgrant to help amplify one of the six presenters who shared their projects last night.

Please join us in congratulating Voice(Is) by Allison Brewyahs
for earning the crowd's vote of support to receive the FoodSpark community microgrant.

More Opportunities to Get Support for Your Ideas!

Whether you pitched your idea last night, are working on a project yourself, or know someone who's creating something magical, the following opportunities offer more chances to get support for your efforts.

1. Midwest Artist Project Services (MAPS) Fiscal Sponsorship Program

Applications are due Tuesday, May 28!

This unique program offers individual artists, collectives, and emerging organizations the ability to solicit tax deductible contributions and grants, as well as consultation from MAPS staff for individual projects. Once a year, MAPS accepts applications for fiscally sponsored projects and an independent, three-person committee selects awardees. All project funds raised by fiscally sponsored projects are subject to a 6% administrative fee.

2. StartingBloc Bootcamp: St. Louis

StartingBloc Bootcamp will provide both meaningful professional and personal development. With a heavy focus on skill building, frameworks, and connecting to other change leaders, you will leave this one-day experience better able to navigate differences of values in the workplace and in life, a community of support and accountability, and deep understanding of 21st century leadership skills. The Bootcamps are perfect for our existing fellows, individuals curious about the StartingBloc Fellowship, or for anyone looking to advance their leadership skills. This event is organized in partnership with Creative Reaction Lab, one of the presenters from last night!

StartingBloc Bootcamp: St. Louis will take place on Saturday, November 9. Learn more here
