Hey friend!

I am writing to re-invite you to the upcoming FoodSpark gathering, "The Spark on Current Events," which will now be held Thursday, May 23 (6-8pm) at The Fellowship on Jefferson. See more details below, and get RSVP to attend via Facebook or Eventbrite.

I hope you join us as we hear from several local changemakers about the work they are doing and help us provide one with a microgrant by casting your vote of support during the event.

Let us know if you have any questions.

RSVP to Attend

Join us for drinks and snacks as we capstone a three-month-long series of conversations on current events both in St. Louis and across the country. We will celebrate local ideas and creators working to address anything that people living here feel is important to improving the overall health of our communities. At the end of the night, we crowdfund (through audience vote) a microgrant to help amplify one of the ideas.

For a suggested donation of $10, guests will enjoy a meal, hear two-minute presentations, and vote on their favorite proposals. The team with the most votes will receive the money raised.

Do you have a project or idea that promotes, supports, or engages issues our city is currently dealing with?

Send your one-page proposal to team@foodspark.org by Tuesday, May 21st to be considered; please include your name, the project title, and contact information. For more information, visit foodspark.org.

Food for this FoodSpark event is provided by The Fountain on Locust.
