Good day. My name is Ruth Lee-Knight. I wanted to share a thought regarding fund raising for our new church home. Many of you will know that all monies from sales of my book, “The Mountie’s Girl,” go into a fund raising account. Also, many of you have already purchased the book for which I am very grateful. However, I had the idea that every St. Martin’s household could mention the book and what it deals with to several friends, while including that this book is a source of income for our church building fund. In other words I am suggesting that you, “promote the book.” In this way we could conceivably add to the $4,000.00 already donated for that purpose. So, it’s easy to see that one small book with a great dual-purpose can generate a tidy sum.  Copies can be purchased for $15.00 by emailing us at and can be picked up at our home at 12 Simcoe Place S.W. If mailing is required it costs an additional $5.00. We also have copies at the Academy.
