******An Important Update******

Dear Friends,
I just wanted you all to know that per Gov. Hogan’s updates from Tuesday (and possibly more restrictions coming today), with our Medical Director Dr. Onos’s input and agreement, I made the difficult decision to revert back to our phase 1 procedures. That means, we have decided to close our Leonardtown and Calvert locations (for now) and operate solely with paid staff (no volunteers) to reduce the risk of transmission and conserve our supplies.

While we are hoping for this to be temporary, Gov. Hogan said Tuesday that he expects things to continue to spike until at least February. And while supplies have just started to become somewhat available, there has already been a run on supplies, making essential items nearly non-existent.

This comes at a time when we are seeing our abortion-minded client rate start to climb again. While this is good news in that it means more women are turning to us before they make choices about their pregnancies, it also means we will once again be operating on a skeleton crew to meet all the needs we can during this pandemic.

Please continue to pray for us – for our health and safety, and for strength and discernment as we continue to navigate the unknown. As difficult as this time is for us, we do find solace in the fact that while we cannot predict the future, we serve a God who already knows, and already has a plan for us. And we trust Him – He will lead us, guide us, and provide for us. He is not challenged by this pandemic, but knows how he can use it to strengthen us and prepare us for what lays ahead.

And to that end I say, To God be the Glory!

For His Glory,
