President's Corner

From Richard Shoaf, President

Only eighteen days until spring and we are fleshing out our final plans for 2018 AIHA Local Section.  I would like to thank the 2018 PDC Planning Committee (Mike McCormick, John Malone, Matt Orr & Paul Edler, ASSE) for all the hard work put in to make this the best to date.  Addition of an additional room, new topics and over 130 registered attendees, students, vendor/sponsors and speakers.  Still have some space if you want to register at http://2018pdc.eventbrite.com

The executive board will be meeting on March 15th to nail down the details for the year including our summer outing.

I have a favor to ask each of you, reach out to members who you have not seen recently and let them know they are missed.  We are working hard to build an association of professionals that benefits them but is also a community.  Some of the folks who I personally learned so much as a emerging professional where members of AIHA and we can help be mentors to the next generation too.  Please consider this a challenge to get involved.

See you at the PDC!

Richard C. A. Shoaf,
President
AIHA Saint Louis Section
