I want to make a few comments about the rising concerns over COVID-19.  Let me remind us of three things:

1. Clean hands: Embrace best health practices: avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth; cover your cough and sneeze; wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  We will stop handshaking by everyone for a time.   We have increased our cleaning regime at both our facilities. If you are sick, or not feeling well, we encourage you to please stay home.

2. Clear Heads: There is no reason to panic. We live in one of the best places in the world to receive great care.  Be wise, and make sure you are getting good information. Here are two helpful websites: Public Health Agency of Canada and the Province of NB

3. Open hearts: We are the church, and God has called us to love our neighbours and to care for the community we are a part of.  Let’s seek to be an encouragement and helpful neighbours and friends.  Look out for people who may need support.
Finally, we are monitoring the situation daily and will be abiding by the Province of NB advice about public gatherings. Please be watching our church website, Facebook page, and your email as we will send out information through those vehicles.   As always, let's be a people of prayer and joyful in hope.  Thanks, Pastor Rob
I’m New! If you are new to RiverCross we’d love for you to stop by our table, below the “I’m New” sign in the foyer, and receive a gift.
RiverKids is happy to announce a new opportunity for families:   “KINECT”.  Join us Thursday nights between January 9 to April 2, 6pm-7pm for an evening to help connect, inspire, encourage, and disciple your family.  This program is for parents & children together.
Children’s baptism classes will start Wednesday, March 18, at 6:30 pm for 3 weeks. Any children interested in baptism can talk with Amy Baxter. Youth baptism classes are currently on Thursdays at 7 pm. If you are a youth interested in joining a baptism class, you can contact Pastor Matt Snow.
We are looking to add some more volunteers to our tech team here at RiverCross.  Our team is comprised of Projection, Lighting, Sound, Livestreaming, Video Editing and Programming.  There are various levels of commitment for each of these areas.  If you are interested in being part of our tech team here at RiverCross, please see Pastor Joe for more information.
A study on The Good and Beautiful Community by James Bryan Smith will be starting March 22nd, during the 11:00 am service, in the Youth Room. It will run for 10 Sundays (till May 24th). This study is the third and last book in the “Good and Beautiful” series that is focused on transformation into Christ likeness. This particular study will look at becoming a Christ follower in the area of our relationships. It will be facilitated by Roger Stoesz. Please sign up in the lobby if you are interested in doing this study since we will need to order books for it.
Giving envelopes for the 2020 year are available at the Welcome Centre. Please dispose of previous year’s envelopes as envelope numbers can change annually.
Are you new to RiverCross?  If so, we’d love to have the chance to meet you and answer any questions you may have.  Sunday, March 29th, after the 11 am service, we will be hosting a luncheon and would love for you to join us.  During this lunch, we will have a brief presentation on our church, and answer any questions you may have.  It will be a chance for you to meet the pastoral staff, some church leaders, and others who are New 2 RiverCross as well.

50+ Fancy Dinner will take place on Monday, March 23rd at 6:30 p.m.  With Roast Beef and lots of fixings on the menu, it promises to be a great night of food, fun and connecting with others from our church family. Plan now to attend and sign up at the welcome centre to reserve your spot.  Cost of the evening is 10 dollars per person at the door.
Leadership Day
On April 25th we will be hosting a Leadership Day for anyone interested in growing as a leader.  The day will feature videos from the 2019 Global Leadership Summit featuring some of the worlds leading voices on leadership.  The day will be both inspirational and practical.  The day will start at 9am, end at 3, and cost for the day is $10.
