Please join us for worship this Sunday in person at 9:30 or 11:00 am or online at 11:00 am. We will have guest speaker Renée MacVicar (Embree) preaching. Renée was our Associate Pastor of Youth Ministries from 2008-2014, and is not the Associate Pastor at Hillside Church in Moncton.
Nursery, Preschool, and Kids Ministry groups are available for both services. Those joining us in person have the option of socially distanced seating.

One Conference, an overnight even for youth from all around the Atlantic Provinces, is happening in Moncton this year from June 2-3. The event will be full of awesome times of worship, engaging speakers, and tons of fun. It’s a great opportunity for our youth to encounter Jesus, and we would love to bring as many youth as possible! If you would like to help make this happen, please consider sponsoring the registration fee for one of our students. The cost per person is $120, and is payable however you regularly give. Thank you for investing in our youth!
Please keep one of our Partners in Mission, The Soucy’s, in your prayers. If you’d like to see their newsletter there are copies at the Welcome Center. Every two weeks we will add a new prayer request of theirs to our ebulletin for the congregation to be thinking of them in prayer. “For Bill Dyck as he connects both virtually and in person with church leaders, to have impact in their lives and ministry.”
“Change for Jesus” is back! Once again, we are raising money for camp sponsorships this summer. We call this our "Change for Jesus" campaign. We typically raise enough money to send up to 30 people, including families. This is quite remarkable, considering the sponsorship cost is over $400 per person! As we gear up again to send children, youth, and families to camp, please prayerfully consider how you can financially support this important summer ministry. Please place your gift in the offering plate on Sunday, or pay by church debit, and designate it, "Change for Jesus." You can also drop your financial donation off at the church office. Thank You!
SHORT TERM MISSION TEAM PRAYER SUPPORT
In support of the Short Term Mission Team going to El Salvador, there will be two prayer meetings before summer. Please reserve the dates and plan to attend to give the team this important prayer support.
The prayer meetings will be held at RiverCross on:
Monday, May 8 at 7 pm and
Monday, June 12 at 7 pm.
Prayer requests and information on El Salvador will be available at these meetings. The mission team has started meeting for training and preparation. Please be in prayer for them now.
INTERNATIONAL SUNDAY
This past Sunday was our Annual International Sunday Worship Service. After each service, we had an International Food Market to raise funds for our short term Mission Trip to El Salvador happening in October. It was representation of the Beautiful Community RiverCross is! Thank you to everyone who cooked, decorated, or took part in the service in any way. Together, we raised approximately $4,000 to support our El Salvador Mission Trip! Thank you for all your support and prayers!
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY:
Please be in prayer for the family of Diane Clark who passed away this week, and for Jan Cameron on the passing of her sister Carol Green. Our sincere condolences to both families!

Adult Study Opportunity
Having established the superiority of Christ in the first 10 chapters, the writer to the Hebrews shifts his emphasis in chapter 11 to the most logical response — faith! Hebrews chapter 11 profiles the hall of fame of faith followers, willing to risk all for their Lord, with the view of putting feet to their beliefs! Dr. Bill Shaw will be leading a study whereby we examine our faith journey against the backdrop of God’s faithful followers. Please consider joining in as we explore together “The practical life of faith." This study began last week, but new participants are welcome to join on Sunday mornings at 11:00am!
Spanish ALPHA will take place here at RiverCross Church on Sunday, April 30 at 6:00 p.m. Beginning with a light Dinner, video and discussion, this is a fun and growing experience for everyone involved. The topic this week is "How Do I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?” We hope to see you there!
