We look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday, in person at 9am or 11am or online at 11am.
If you have not been back to an in-person service, here is what you need to know:
  • you do not need to register to attend, but we would ask you to keep personal track of the Sundays you attend.
  • masks are optional
  • we have a specific section in the worship centre, for those who prefer to physical distance, look for the section with tape on the rows! We have ushers who can help you find a seat
  • the offering plate and debit machine are at the back of the worship centre and you can use them as you arrive or leave the service
Fall Sunday Services Times
This Sunday, we will move to two morning services: 9 & 11am.  Our hope is, having an hour between morning services will allow people to stay after a service to visit before the next service begins.  We want to reduce congestion in the foyer.  The services will be the same. There will be a children’s program and nursery during both services.
This Sunday, you are invited to our WELCOME BACK Kick Off Event! Between services, from 10 AM to 11 AM, join us in the side parking lot where you will:
  • learn about how you can CONNECT with various RiverCross ministries
  • discover where YOU can CONTRIBUTE by becoming part of The Current, our group of incredible volunteers who keep everything moving!
There will also be kids’ games and snacks! So … plan to stay a little later after the first service or come a little earlier before the second service and join the fun! We hope to see you there!

How to Read the Bible for All it’s Worth- Study
From time to time you may hear preachers use the term 'unpack' when they are about to go deeper into the scripture passage. The elective being offered teaches a method to do just that. It's based on the book "How to Read the Bible for All it's Worth" by Gordon D Fee and Douglas Stuart.  This course will help you understand how to read and interpret the Scriptures, and is guaranteed to change your attitude on a few things. A must read for all Christians.  This class will be offered Sunday mornings during the 11am service, starting this Sunday, and will be facilitated by Mike Albert.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.  We will be offering this group starting Monday September 13th at 6:30pm at RiverCross Church.  There is limited space so please pre-register by calling the office, or online at

50+ Corn Boil and Dinner will be held on Thursday, September 16th at 6:30 pm here at RiverCross Church.  Lots of food, fun, fellowship and prizes, and a time to re-connect with our 50+ crowd  as well.  Food will include corn, potato salad and other salads, ham, rolls and desserts. Please sign up on our website or by calling the church office by Monday, September 13th.  Cost is 10 dollars per person at the door.
On Thursday, September 23rd, 7pm we are inviting you to join us for an evening of prayer as a church family.  As we are emerging from this pandemic, we recognize this is a new season and we want to build this new season on a solid foundation, as a church, and as individuals.  We believe this starts with prayer.  We invite you to come and join in a time of prayer for the needs of our church and city.
RiverCross Church is pleased to announce an Induction service for Pastor Sandi Killeen, our new Youth and Family Pastor. The service will take place on Sunday, September 26th, at 6:30 pm. It will take place, both in person as well as online.  Her father, Rev. Dr. Kevin Hicks will be the guest speaker.  If you are not able to attend, but would like to send greetings, please do so by Friday, September 24th to
Mental Health Check In
This fall we are going to provide opportunities for you to do a mental health check in.  We are creating spaces where we can receive some Christian instruction and practical helps on how to improve our mental health.  These conversations will help us with issues many are facing.
September 29th, our first night, the topic will be “Why am I so angry?”  Have you found yourself angry with groups, policies, people, coworkers or family members?  Have you surprised yourself with how angry you have been?  On this evening we will talk about this common reality and, as Christians, talk about some ways to deal with our anger.   Our guest speaker for this will be Carolyn Westin.  Carolyn is a professional counsellor based in Sackville, NB.  The format for the evening is simple: Carolyn will share some helpful instruction, and then we will have a chance for questions and answers. When this is complete, people will be invited to break into groups and discuss the content and application further. For more information or to register go to or call Marlee in the church office (642-8060).
Volunteers Needed!  We are looking for volunteers in a couple different ministries!
