Hello Shorewood on the Sound Community Club Neighbor,
With the vaccine rollout and the easing of COVID restrictions we are gearing up for some fun!
Here's what's happening in the neighborhood in the next few months (More details will be posted on the SOTS website and our Facebook page):
SOTS Beach Cleanup and Planting Party - Saturday, May 22nd, 10am to 12pm at the SOTS beach. Lend a hand to clean up our beach and add some native plants to the post-construction landscape.
Shorewoood Park Work Party - Jean Spohn will host another work party to remove invasive plants in Shorewood Park on June 5th from 10am to 12pm.
Streets of Garage Sales returns Saturday, June 12th, 9am to 4pm. Please contact organizers Joey Eavey and Kim Davis if you would like to participate.
SOTS Summerfest block party makes its triumphant return on July 24th. Contact Kelsey, the event organizer, to assist.
Salmon Bake - Saturday, August 14th at the SOTS beach. Contact grill-master, Brett Lyons, and organizer, Lori Davis.
And, your SOTS Annual Dues were due in April. Please pay dues on-line at shorewoodonthesound.org or mail a check to PO Box 47203, Burien, WA 98146 ASAP. The dues support our beach and other community functions. $75 regular dues/$60 senior dues.
