Thanks for stopping by for another round of The Breeze. Today's newsletter is quite uplifting.

Check out the new restoration plans for the North Platte stretch going through town, get up to date on some budget revisions on upcoming city projects, and learn about the "From the Field" program organized by the Wyoming Hunger Initiative and Dan's Meat Processing. We have another Master of the Hunt Spotlight featuring local hunting legend, Liam.

The weather today is looking like it's going to be partly cloudy with a 20 mph breeze and a high of around 82°F.

Master of the Hunt Spotlight: Liam

Happy Thursday! Kelly here with another spotlight on a hunter in our community.

Another day, another antelope. These things are pretty common out here. I picked this younger hunter out for today because I loved reading about how hunting is something special he always does with his dad.

Meet Liam, and take a peek at his trophy animal.

Liam says, "This is my second antelope kill. I always hunt with my dad. We spotted this buck. I told my dad 'I'm not gonna shoot it.' My dad said, 'just get out and nail him!' So when I opened the door to the truck it took off and we followed it. It stopped and I got out just nailed him in the head. I shot him with my dad's 6.5 PRC at 480 yards."

Have a big game photo from this season you want to feature? Want to see more trophy animal photos from other local hunters?

Check out the Oil City News Master of the Hunt giveaway page here. Oil City News has partnered with Wyoming Super Tag to bring about this photo contest. Submit a picture of your trophy animals for the chance to win one of four $100 gift cards to either Wagner's Outdoor Outfitters or Rocky Mountain Discount Sports.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will be featuring some of our favorite big game photo submissions as this contest goes on.
