Hello,

Happy Tuesday. Hope your morning is treating you well. It's a beautiful day so far and we hope that beauty continues throughout the day.

You're probably wondering, "What can make this morning any better?"

Well, thanks for wondering. We just might have what you're looking for. In today's Breeze we have a couple of articles featuring the return of UW Football and a new grant that the university received to use snowpack to help better predict floods and droughts. We also have our daily reminder to vote for David Street Station as well as another Master of the Hunt Spotlight from Kelly.

The weather today is looking to reach a rather warm 81°F with some sun and a 16 mph breeze.

Master of the Hunt Spotlight: Danielle Schoenwolf

Hey guys! It's Kelly here with Tuesday's spotlight on another local hunter.

You might remember that awhile back I mentioned that I was born and raised in South Dakota. Back in SD, we call these animals pronghorn but I'm quickly learning that in Wyoming, they are antelope. So please excuse me if I call them the wrong name at some point. That is almost guaranteed to happen.

I'd love for you to meet Danielle Schoenwolf and look at this cool antelope that is also her first big game harvest.

She says, "My husband & I packed our two young kids early in the morning & headed out. I watched the sunrise as we drove & anticipated the hunt. It wasn’t long before we spotted him out on the prairie. As I lined up for the shot I was sure he was going to turn & run. My adrenaline was through the roof but I was able to shoot him on opening day, about five minutes after sunrise, taking him with one shot at roughly 150 yards! I couldn’t have been happier."

Have a big game photo from this season you want to feature? Want to see more trophy animal photos from other local hunters?

Check out the Oil City News Master of the Hunt giveaway page here. Oil City News has partnered with Wyoming Super Tag to bring about this photo contest. Submit a picture of your trophy animals for the chance to win one of four $100 gift cards to either Wagner's Outdoor Outfitters or Rocky Mountain Discount Sports.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will be featuring some of our favorite big game photo submissions as this contest goes on.
