LGC - The Local Government Commission (LGC) - in partnership with the Institute for Local Government (ILG) and ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI) through the Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative - is recruiting to fill the Statewide Local Government Energy Efficiency Best Practices Coordinator position.

M Live - The number of local governments in Michigan that are making efforts to improve their energy efficiency has doubled over the last decade, according to a study from the University of Michigan.
Utility Dive - The U.S. Department of Energy announced changes to the process for updating federal energy efficiency standards for 60 different categories of appliances that significantly raise the bar for the amount of energy efficiency improvements a standard must achieve before the agency will even consider implementing it.
