SCE - An SCE pilot program targets Compton, Inglewood and Ridgecrest for new photo-cell sensor streetlights that are brighter, smarter and will save energy. SCE installed about 175,000 LED streetlights- Opens in new window over the last few years. The ones being installed in Compton also have smart-communicating photo sensors in the fixtures.
Utility DIve - The most significant portions of the Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act would modify national building codes to make new homes and commercial buildings more energy efficient, provide retrofitting assistance for schools, and create a program to account for efficiency in the mortgage appraisal and underwriting process for federally-backed mortgages.
NRDC - The benefits of the nation’s largest energy resource aren’t reaching those who could most use them. We can fix that.
Zero Energy Project - America is still mired in wasteful buildings, equipment, and practices. Two-thirds of the energy that flows through the American economy is simply wasted, there is clearly a lot of room for improvement.

Greenbuild is the world's largest conference and expo dedicated to green building.
