Major energy storage incentives authorized by CPUC can help safeguard those most vulnerable to wildfire and power safety shut-offs
CPUC - I wanted to make sure community-serving energy professionals in CA were aware that the CPUC has recently authorized major modifications to the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) to strengthen resiliency in communities facing the greatest risk of wildfires and Power Safety Shut-offs.
CPUC - Residential electric usage has increased 15 to 20 percent in recent weeks compared to the same period last year. The CPUC is taking action to ensure that this does not become an added hardship for people who have lost their jobs or are otherwise suffering economically due to COVID19.
ICLEI - This Leading with Local Action report recounts some of the insights gained through ICLEI's engagement with cities, towns, and counties over one year.
SCG - As a company, SoCalGas prioritizes the health, safety, and wellbeing of its customers, employees, and contractors. In alignment with SoCalGas company directives, SoCalGas’ EE Programs are announcing the following response at this time. 


ILG - The Beacon Program recognizes the measurable achievements of cities and counties working to address climate change. These awards, called Beacon Spotlight Awards, are given in five distinct award categories. Within each award area, a participant can earn silver, gold or platinum – based on the level of achievement. To win the highest honor, a full Beacon Award, participating agencies are required to demonstrate achievements in all five areas. If you would like to apply for award consideration in any of the five categories or for the full Beacon Award, please complete this form by July 1, 2020.
