Tomato season is here!

Who loves fresh tomatoes? I have 17 plants in my garden this year--8 Romas, 8 Early Girls, and 1 grape. The combination makes wonderful puree, soup, salsa, and barbecue sauce. Be sure to check out my spaghetti sauce recipe below, made with home-canned puree!

In addition to this month's giveaway, I'm sharing the link to the End of Summer Social over on the RomanceBooks blog. Recipe and Giveaway!
Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes! My garden produces so many, I use an old Victorio strainer with a motor attached to speed up the juicing step for puree. I post pictures of it on my Facebook page at least once during canning season. Stocking up for winter would take considerably longer without it!
Question: What's your favorite way to eat tomatoes?
Send your answer to by midnight (EDT) on September 15 and you're entered to win a $10 Amazon gift card!
Spaghetti Sauce
1 quart tomato puree
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons sugar

teaspoon black pepper
½ cup chopped onion
