Pastor's Devotional...
October 3, 2019

As we study scriptures for insights on the strategies of satan, here’s a self-test to see if he’s already one up on you. Ask yourself, “Am I not feeling guilt about some ongoing destructive behavior pattern?” Remember, satan desensitizes us to sin’s impact through constant exposure to the world’s acceptance of what the Holy Spirit excludes.
Next question: “Am I experiencing guilt over something I have already confessed as sin to God and for which I have received forgiveness?” Remember God’s forgiveness is complete; He eternally erases it and remembers it no more “for his own sake” (Isaiah 43:25) so we can be in a close, intimate loving relationship.
One of satan’s names is the “accuser”. We see him accusing Job to God and accusing God to Eve in tempting her to eat of the forbidden tree. He does this by deadening Holy Spirit driven conviction of sin and refuting faith in what the Savior has done to ensure our sins are forgiven and forgotten.
In other words, guilt before forgiveness is divine, guilt after forgiveness is demonic.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name I ask, convict me of whatever is displeasing to You and lovingly assure me about what has already been forgiven in my past. In His Name, Amen

Reset Conference is a gathering for women to reclaim and proclaim their identity as a cherished child of God.

Join us and other women from around our Central Florida community for a day of connection, worship and renewal! Together, we will shed the heaviness of the world’s definition of who we are — all the “can’ts,” “shoulds” and “musts.” We will experience and embrace God’s Truth about who He is and who we are in Him.
