Thank you again to everyone who's donated time, money, or, in some cases, both to supporting our latest project.  Read on for details on the house rehab and some sneak peek photos of the progress (or come out tonight and see for yourself).

Also in this email: a recap of the Affordable for Whom conference, details on our upcoming trip to visit the Albany CLT, and opportunities for you to get involved in the fight for development without displacement!

Affordable for Whom?
Four of us went down to NYC earlier this month for the Affordable for Whom convening. The conference focused on "deep affordability" in housing. Can't stress enough how energizing it was to be among like-minded advocates from around the country!  We're hoping to meet up again with many of these folks at the 50th anniversary celebration of New Communities, Inc, the first Community Land Trust!  Save the Date: October 2-5, Wednesday - Saturday

Cooperation and Collaboration
You won't believe all the progress we've made on our CLT House Rehab Project!  All new electric and all new plumbing throughout the house, bathroom floor completely rebuilt, roof nearly shingled, and some really exciting bathroom and kitchen designs!

As always, this wouldn't have been possible without supporters like YOU!

The partnership with our friends at Project Phoenix and the Rochester Multi-craft Apprenticeship Preparation Program (ROC MAPP) continues to strengthen. If you know someone who is looking for a career in the trades, help us help them by putting them in contact with this program.  They introduce adult students to the trades and get them prepared for union apprenticeships via paid on-site and in-classroom training.

Check out this sneak peak at what we're going for with the bathroom!
