We've got 9 days online to sell our items, so please do go on and have a look!
THANK YOU AGAIN, PARISHIONERS, FOR YOUR GENEROSITY IN DONATING ITEMS!
Items that sell are to be dropped off at the church on Thursday, July 22nd and Friday July 23rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Purchases are to be picked up on Saturday, July 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Maxsold will give each buyer a specific time to pick up their item. We will follow strict Covid19 protocol which will include face masks, etc. Exact pick-up information will be provided by MaxSold at the time of payment. We will not be collecting payments. All payments will go through Maxsold.
We have 95 individual lots in our auction. Many beautiful and interesting items so please take a look and bid. Remember, all bids start at $1.00 and we want this to be a successful fund raiser so don’t be afraid to bid. With your support this auction will be a very successful event.
Please take a few minutes to browse the site and please feel free to bid. MaxSold has informed us that most of the active bidding takes place in the last half hour of the auction. So, if you have your eye on something, keep checking, especially as the sale nears completion.
Here are the reminder notes:
Reserve Bid: There are no reserve bids. All items start at $1.00. If you feel the sale price for your item is too low you can bid on it and buy it back….or…let it go and be happy .
Auction Start Date: Monday July 12th
Auction End Date: Wednesday July 21st
Drop Off Dates: Thursday July 22nd and Friday July 23rd
And, THANK YOU Susan, Sally and Helen for all your efforts to make this auction happen!!
Widening Our Welcome at St. Luke's
The Widening Our Welcome made a great start as a Task Team this morning, and will meet again in two weeks. Please feel free to be in touch with Anne Wright (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions.
A Service of the Word with Lectio Divina
We will continue to meet on Zoom on Wednesdays 11 a.m. through the month of July.
All are welcome at this virtual gathering, where we reflect on the Gospel passage for the coming Sunday with the questions "What word or phrase stands out for you?" What speaks to you in the passage?" "What meaning had you not perceived before?" "What is the Gospel asking you to do today?" guiding us, and share in a liturgy of the word.

St. Luke's Outdoor Worship
The next Outdoor Worship will take place on Sunday, July 25th, 2021 at 4 p.m.. Please register for that here.
Hope to see you there!
St. Luke's Storytelling and Social Time
For the month of July, you're invited to keep up the Storytelling Time connection during Rev. Victoria's drop in office hours from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Many thanks to Anne and Helen for their efforts around Storytelling Time. This space for sharing, and the connections made on a Thursday afternoon have been a tremendous blessing during these pandemic days. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared stories and to those who listened.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
Rev. Victoria's Office Hours on Zoom
Click here to drop in to Zoom any time between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesdays. As noted above, you may see St. Luke's friends when you drop in, and this is a good way to maintain the Storytelling Time connections made these last months.
Rev. Victoria will also be available by phone or Zoom from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. if you would like to book an appointment for one-on-one conversation. Please email her to book your time.
If Wednesdays aren't convenient for you, just email Rev. Victoria to find another time to connect.
While there is hope in our gentle emerging from pandemic restrictions, these are still difficult days, but we can get through this together!
Every happening, great and small, is a parable whereby God speaks to us, and the art of life is to get the message.
