Do you need support?
Each one of us is experiencing these pandemic days in a different way. If you would like to check in, have a conversation, share a laugh or a cry, or be prayed with, please be in touch with Rev. Victoria (victoria@stlukesottawa.ca or 613-698-6083) to set up a Zoom meeting or phone conversation.
Would you like to connect with another member of the community but aren’t sure how to reach them? Contact Helen Cathcart at familylibrarian@yahoo.ca, or leave a message on the church answering machine and we’ll make the connection.
We can get through this together!
St. Luke's Annual Vestry
As noted in recent newsletters, all parishes will hold Virtual Annual Vestry Meetings this year, and St. Luke's will hold our Annual Vestry on Sunday, February 28th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. on Zoom.
Please fill in the registration form found here. While we would not normally register for an Annual Vestry Meeting, this will assist with preparing for and running the meeting. One of the things the registration form deals with is affirming the Solemn Declaration, which is a Canonical requirement of our Diocese.
A Budget Information Session will be offered on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. also on Zoom. You are asked to indicate on the registration form if you'll attend that session.
If you normally submit a Vestry Report, you are asked to forward that to the Church Office (officestlukesottawa@gmail.com) as soon as possible. Many thanks to those who have already submitted reports.
Zoom links for the Budget Information Session and the Virtual Annual Vestry meeting will follow, and reports and meeting meetings will be circulated in the next two weeks.
Please feel free to be in touch with Rev. Victoria or one of the wardens with any questions.
Vestry Reports
Those who usually submit Vestry Reports are asked to do so as soon as possible, and to email them to the church office: officestlukesottawa@gmail.com
While those preparing reports might wonder at first what to include, given that we've been in a pandemic all these months, reports are an important record and it's important to document each year. Thank you in advance for your efforts!
