forloop Weekly

Hello there!
I hope your weekend has been everything you hoped it would be on Friday. Mine hasn't, but there will be other weekends, so we move.

If you've seen (and liked) any of the Matrix movies from '99 and the early 2000s, you'll notice that the film was big on special visual effects, one of which was the matrix digital rain. Check out how it's recreated with Vanilla.JS in this tutorial.

On to other stuff;

- Kubernetes 1.16 has been released. The new version contains about 30 enhancements including volume extension, overhauled metrics, significant changes to the Kubernetes API, the introduction of Endpoint Slices, and more. Read the release notes to find out more.

- Safari 13 has been released. Check out the documentation and release notes here.

- Here are 11 benefits of Tailwind CSS over Custom CSS.

 - Don't forget to register to attend TechCabal Townhall this September. The tech community event will be focusing on Mobility: How tech is changing transport, logistics, and infrastructure in Africa. The townhall is slated to take place on Friday, the 27th of September, 2019.
