Happy Sunday!

As the year draws to a close, I hope you're getting all the rest you need. Don't forget to recharge for the 2019 journey!

Here's what's up,

+ The Progate Developers Meetup at Lusaka was a success. Great tips were learnt, and so many young, talented beginners attended. If you missed the event, follow the hashtag, #ProgateZambiaMeetup, to catch up.

+ Open source has seen a lot more contribution and disruption this year, and on the basis of stars, contributors, and topic, GitHub has ranked the top open source projects of 2018. Check it out; you may even find something you contributed to.

+ Following in the open source path, GitHub has released a new version of the open source Git project, Git 2.20.0. Have a look.

+ In the bid to create a better web experience through modern web technologies, the Google v8js team has released public class fields syntax in the v8js version 7.2 and Chrome 72. Read the release notes here.
