Hello!

Welcome to December! I hope the end of the year brings you amazing things.

Here's what's happening,

+ The entire forLoop Africa family is delighted to welcome forLoop South Africa into the fold. If you're a member of the forLoop Africa community, and you're in South Africa, you now have a place to call home.
Check out their activities at @forloopSA

+ Spectrum, the online community building platform, has announced that they'll be joining GitHub. They have also announced that all community features on the platform will now be free, and there'll be deeper integration with GitHub (duh!). Read the announcement here.

+ If you'll be in Lusaka this December, then make sure you find your way to the Progate Africa Developers meetup on the 15th of December. There'll be amazing speakers, and everyone who loves to code is welcome - even beginners. Register here to attend, and join the event's Whatsapp group.

If you haven't listened to #forLoopPod Episode 7, today's a good day
to catch up. Listen here or on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. Subscribe and share with friends too.

On cool tools...

Ogundiran Ayobami (@ayovision) has built a Laravel package that helps developers - especially beginners - get solutions to Laravel errors right in the stack traces. Check out the project here.

Osioke Itseuwa (@osioke) has launched Frintern, a platform that helps people learn and acquire skills needed for a career in tech for free and in days. Osioke says that
Frintern aims to help people find a career path and equips them to move forward in it. Have a look!

If you are building dope tools that the community needs to hear about, my DMs are open. If you're not, it's never too late to start.
