Techtober is in full swing, and the interwebs are agog with new updates, code challenges (#100DaysofCode, Hacktoberfest, etc), conferences and more. Don't forget to stay glued to your email on Wednesdays and Sundays to get updates from the forloop newsletter. Here's what's happening;

Concatenate Conference is 3 days away! 
The event is set to hold in Lagos and Nairobi from the 9th to 15th of October. There'll be exciting full-day and half-day workshops, tech talks, breakout sessions and more. Find out more about the speakers, topics, and schedule here. You don't want to miss it.

- PostgreSQL 12 has been released. In this new version, the open source database has introduced notable improvements to its query performance, support for SQL/JSON path expression, and maintenance enhancements to its indexing system and partitioning. Check out the release notes here

- VueJS v3 (pre-alpha) has been released.  The new version packs improvements to its architecture and compiler, plus significantly faster runtimes. Check out the change log here.

- Check out these 10 Tips (by Simon Holdorf) that could make you a better VueJS developer.

- In this video tutorial, Michael Chan demonstrates how to build React from scratch.
