On March 1st from 18:00-20:00, this Thursday at Bus Boys & Poets in Brookland NE DC, I will be speaking among a panel on: how is the current activism bringing women's art and issues to the forefront.
These pieces are outtakes of the piece "American Circus," which was sold last fall at The Fridge, where 100% of the proceeds went towards hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico and earthquake relief efforts in Mexico.
"American Circus" among 7 other pieces were created for my first solo art exhibition, "After Hours." Each of the individual pieces for the show (not listed in this Newsletter) were all birthed out of both personal and professional hardships given the recent Election. The other remaining pieces will be on display at Bus Boys & Poets in Brookland beginning March 1st, for persons to explore.
