Greek Temples
The pupils in Year 4 have been working on a team project to create their own Greek temple models. They planned and designed their models carefully thinking about the different materials they would need for the different components of their temples.
With the help of their teachers, they used the very popular hot glue gun carefully and responsibly which, for some, was an entirely new experience.
A fun activity which they all enjoyed! They loved designing a product and working in a team.

Yummy Honey
It has been a few years in the making, our Gardening Club have been lucky enough to look at some frames of honey form the school beehives. Mr Taylor and Mr Devincenzi-Clemens taught the pupils about how the frames are developed, along with then uncapping the honey and processing the honey by hand. Unfortunately, there was not enough honey to spin the frames, so it was good old fashioned manual work. It's a first! Loreto are the first school in Gibraltar to have their own small scale honey production. The next stage is to learn about using the wax to make some candles or lip balm products.

Israel Independence Day
Uri and his family celebrated Israel Independence Day on Thursday. To mark the country’s 74th Independence Day, Uri kindly brought in delicious sesame halva snacks to share with the class. We watched some videos about Israel which highlighted its outstanding beauty, vibrant cultural scene and urban life. Uri prepared and then presented a very engaging and interactive PowerPoint about Israel to the class. He was very proud of the fact that Israel is an innovative leader in science and high-tech. Thank you Uri for teaching us a little about Israel; a country with fascinating history with a rainbow of cultures and traditions.
