New Nursery 1
We are so excited to welcome you to our newly renovated nursery 1. A place where your child will feel safe and secure in a caring environment. We offer stimulating and sensory toys. We follow themes and topics which are relevant to the children. This is important as learning is a journey and through these topics and themes the children will acquire new skills and knowledge. Children are individuals and are given time to express their own needs and interests. This allows us to tailor the learning experiences to each individual child.

Fire! Fire!
Year 2 have been learning about the Great Fire Of London and how houses at the time were made out of wood. Houses were so close together in London in 1666 that the fire spread quickly. There was a strong wind that didn't help and there were no fire fighters in those days! The fire lasted for 4 days!

Nursery 2
We had a special guest during our chapel time this week, Mr Hook came and played the guitar. We started chapel with the Lord's Prayer then two pupils said a short bidding prayer, we all sang hymns and finished with the nursery prayer. This is an early introduction to the Catholic faith.

We received a lovely message from Bishop Carmel. We would also like to thank him for his inspiring words on PEACE at the end of the service and for his steadfast support for Loreto.
I would like to add my compliments to those of the Governor reference your presentation involving the whole school on the World Day of Peace.
It was a great performance, and it must have involved a lot of time and preparation on the part of the staff and of the pupils.
On my part, I also would like you to extend my congratulations to staff and pupils for giving us such a wonderful performance.
Best wishes and God Bless.
+Carmel
