WestFest 2018: West Campus Sustainability & Outreach Festival

Join us on the West Campus of The Ohio State University for a free public event showcasing sustainability and outreach at Ohio State and beyond! This event is open to people of all ages, from children to retirees.

Participating departments and organizations include: Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center, Byrd Polar & Climate Research Center, Center for Applied Plant Sciences, Center for Automotive Research, OBIC, Sea Grant/Stone Lab, COSI, Office of Energy and Environment, and more.

In addition to displays and hands-on activities highlighting research at Ohio State, there will be tours of the Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center and Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center (available on a first come, first served basis).

Byrd Center Public Tour
Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
The monthly public tour includes:
1. A brief history of the Byrd Center as an OSU institution and overview of the research groups.
2. Screening of a field video.
3. Tour of the building, including a look at clean rooms, the ice core freezer, and the Polar Rock Repository
