Tremendous start to "The Journey"

Neurological tremor awareness campaign "The Journey of a Thousand Miles " saw a tremendous start this July.

By taking part in this virtual "journey" the NTF hopes to encourage people to engage in some activity such as a walk around their garden, a run or cycle ride, or any other physical activity, whilst raising awareness of tremor.

NTF Honorary President Lord Julian Fellowes, creator of “Downton Abbey”, who also has Essential Tremor, launched the campaign on the 4 July at an online event.

Latest On The Campaign To Ensure People With Essential Tremor Have More Choice On The NHS

A big thank you to everyone who supported the Saturday online tremor support groups during July. We met weekly to share participants stories of their journeys as we virtually travelled the first 1000 miles of “The Journey”.

We look forward to continuing our travels to new and exciting destinations.


Online events in August/September

Please note:
  1. There will be new meet-up times from 15th August.
  2. There will be no event on Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday 29 August)
  3. From September the main event will the first Saturday of each month.
We advise people to regularly check our website for more updates.

Tremor lunch meet-up 🍽
26th August, 12.30pm–1.30pm
The NTF will trial a lunchtime pop in meet up. The idea is for people to pop in anytime between 12:30-13:30 for an informal get together and social chat. If popular this will become a weekly event.
