Lord Julian Fellowes' annual message to the NTF

As part of the festive edition, Honorary President of the National Tremor Foundation, Lord Julian Fellowes, writes his annual message.

"For all of us, this has been the year of Covid 19.  There can't be much doubt about that.  I was in New York in March working on my new series, The Gilded Age, when suddenly, at the end of an afternoon, we were told that we were all headed home, and I was on a flight at 7.30am the following morning."

Delight as NHS England approves funding for MRgFUS to treat essential tremor
The NTF is thrilled to announce that NHS England has made the decision to provide vital funding for the novel Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) for the treatment of essential tremor.

Following last month’s excellent news - when  NHS England announced that MRgFUS (MR-Guided Focused Ultrasound) will be available for patients on the NHS from April next year - we have updated the NTF website with a new Q&A section to answer your queries

Autumn Activity Challenge success!
We would like to thank every one for taking part in the NTF Autumn Activity Challenge and raising awareness of tremor - check out these and other amazing pictures! After this success we look forward to our Winter Ramble.

NTF Christmas e-cards are now for sale

The NTF Christmas e-card is available.

The cards were painted by artist Tina Martin, who has essential tremor.

The cards cost as little as £1 for 100 ecards and the proceeds go to the NTF to support people with tremor.

Support group news round up

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the past 8 months tremor support groups have been online. This has given us the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people from far and wide. Why not check out the Festive events taking place during December, it would be lovely to see you there.

On behalf of support group leaders we send our best wishes to each and everyone for Christmas and New Year.

From 1 November we will not be having a Lunchtime Meet-up on the Wednesday before each Saturday monthly meet-up.

We advise people to regularly check our website and public social media pages for more updates.

Young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
