Director's farewell:

March is always an exciting month for me. I look forward to that first day of Spring as if winter magically disappears. We know that's not typically the case, but it does bring with it new beginnings in so many ways. Plants start to sprout, trees start to bud, grass starts to green up again preparing us for the next season in the year!
For me, this Spring has great significance as I close this chapter in my life.  March 29th will be my last day in this beautiful building on Cleveland Ave.  I will miss my office, my coworkers, the board members, the volunteers and all the donors and friends that I have come to know and adore over the last 10 years.  You all have made an imprint on my heart and what a gift that is.  I am a better person knowing each of you. God Bless!
The Board of Directors is proud to announce that they have hired Chris Box as the new Executive Director of Associated Charities.  My hope is that you will embrace her as you did me. The mission will continue to be the same and we will continue to need your faithful support.  Stop in and get to know her as you will find that she has the heart and passion for helping others as well.

Volunteer Spotlight:

Tena Klok
This month, we celebrate our volunteer, Tena Klok.  She has been a familiar face around AC for many years.  She always has a smile and is willing to help out where needed.  She is a regular volunteer in our food bank, but she also likes to help with our special programs throughout the year as well as during the holidays.
We celebrate and thank you, Tena!

in our Community
Ashland City Teachers held a food drive for our food bank in February!  We appreciate your efforts to help us provide food to families in need in our county.
