Today, I’ve been inspired to get active by doing the shopping for my elderly relative. It means I can get out and about, be active and give back to others at the same time.
Did you know - research says that you’re most likely to describe yourself as happy if you give back to your community? And studies have shown that doing an act of kindness once a week, over a six-week period, is associated with an increase in wellbeing.
So let’s get going. Try to take at least #17Minutes helping out a friend, relative or neighbour today - you could take their dog for a walk, help clean their house or even do their shopping.
