Your Wednesday challenge

Hi <<First Name>>!

How did it go on Monday? Let me know on social media using the hashtag #17MinutesForMe!

And remember, keep going! Even when it gets difficult, setting and achieving your goals is fantastic for your mental and physical wellbeing.

Keep going, don't give up! :D

Today, I’ve been inspired to get active by doing the shopping for my elderly relative. It means I can get out and about, be active and give back to others at the same time.

Did you know - research says that you’re most likely to describe yourself as happy if you give back to your community? And studies have shown that doing an act of kindness once a week, over a six-week period, is associated with an increase in wellbeing.

So let’s get going. Try to take at least #17Minutes helping out a friend, relative or neighbour today - you could take their dog for a walk, help clean their house or even do their shopping.

Have fun! Remember, if you'd rather just take a #17Minute walk or run today, or try another activity, that's great too.

Nick

PS. It’s not too late for others to get involved with #17MinutesForMe. Have a friend or family member who isn't yet taking their #17MinutesForMe? Why not ask them to sign up here?
