What's Going On

May 25 | Drum 4 Life: Drum Circle

Participants will experience hands-on instructions and playing techniques for instruments of the Jembe orchestra. Participants will be exposed to the many uses of the West African drums, music, dance movements, the history, songs, storytelling, choreography, and cultural lessons. More information>>

May 26 | College Awareness Workshops
Friendship Missionary Baptist Church welcomes parents of all middle school and high school students to attend the College Awareness Workshops. Monthly workshops held on various college readiness topics leading up to a HBCU Fair on September 28th. All workshops will begin immediately following the 9:30am church service and will be held in the Choir Room. Register here>>

May 30 | Paint and Sip Tea
Come join us for a painting experience with a guest artist as we unlock our creativity while sipping tea. You do not have to be an artist to paint a beautiful picture. We will use acrylic on canvas, so wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting a little paint on. More Information>>
