Welcome to our October Newsletter.
We are delighted to announce that we have moved to the Institute for Global Prosperity at University College London for the next stage of our development.
IGP is a creative and inspiring research institute that puts people and ethics at the centre of its analysis – exactly what we believe is necessary to rebuild macroeconomics.
The next stage of our development is publishing a Roadmap exploring new areas of research to complement existing macroeconomic research capacity.
I have written an introductory blog which summarises our direction of travel.
We are pleased to announce two new research calls on the levelling-up agenda, and on alternative structures of governance for the UK. Please apply!
We are supporting two up-coming ground-breaking conferences.
The first, on Law and Macroeconomics is hosted by Professor Rosa Lastra from Queen Mary University of London, and the second, on Government Economists for New Economics and Systems (GENESYS), is being run by colleagues at New Approaches to Economic Challenges (NAEC), at the OECD.
We hope that you can join us at either or both of these events.
Thank you for your support and best wishes,
Director, Rebuilding Macroeconomics
