Five Ways to Grow Your Millennial Customer Base

Reprinted with permission from Florists’ Review, January 2019, by Julie Martens Forney

Discover what makes millennials tick and how to earn their business.

Want to tap into millennial generation buying power? You’re not alone. Every retail segment longs to charm this generation, which has surpassed baby boomers to become the largest living generation. This group boasts purchasing power (more than $200 billion annually) that could keep more than a few brick-and-mortar florist shops going – and growing – strong for many years to come. But what’s the secret to earning this generation’s loyalty?

Just Launched: YPC Takeovers

Last month, we launched the first of our latest series, YPC Takeover!

Twice a month, we will have a member of our Young Professionals Council highlighted on our social media platforms. You can see what the members of the new generation of our industry are working on currently; in the lab, in the field, in the classroom, in the shop, etc.  – all you have to do is visit AFE’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn!

View our first two YPC Takeovers now and make sure you are following us on social media to see who will be featured next >>
