Being part of the change we want to see!

"A week after the #SDGglobalFest and we are still over the clouds"  says a Festival-goer and we feel the same!

Actions and real solutions to tackle the Sustainable Development Goals and make the world better are taking place now – and coming from all types of organizations and corners of the world!

At the Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development we aimed to create the space for solutions to be exchanged, experienced and scaled through collaboration. We made it happen – together with the most active and change-making sustainability advocates, dreamers, and leaders... each one of you joined and shared what it takes to initiate real change and take action for the world we want.

Encouraging words from the United Nations Under Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, the sound of beatboxing and drumming, bold calls for change, action, and inclusion to achieve the SDGs... as soon as it kicked-off, Festival-goers created a network with the SDG colors to celebrate action for sustainable development happening everywhere, engaging everyone, both literally and figuratively.
... and we met the first ever United Nations SDG Action Awards winners! Be again inspired and encouraged, maybe even get a little bit emotional by revisiting the super powerful speeches, emotional moments, beats and joy by re-visting the Awards Cermony
DAY 2: The Power of the Collective: Leave No One Behind

Stories of resilience, change and good examples of what measures are been taken and need to be scaled by youth movements and private and public sector to make sure no one is left behind
DAY 3: The Power of Collaboration
The combination of hands on how to sessions, live conversations on the SDG Studio, a lively knowledge and innovation zone, the Festival experiences and the virtual reality zone generated unique exchanges, strong connections and a truly positive energy throughout the three days of the event. Closing out the Festival was a powerful moment A fully interactive rap filled with love fired up the crowd, bringing together acoustic drums, beatboxing and SDG inspired lyrics, to take all the learnings, connections and strength back home and keep the momentum going!
