News from Around the Region

Matthew Davies a Cerebral Palsy para swimmer with Durrington Otters recently went to the world CP games held just outside Barcelona, Spain. From this competition he came back with a silver medal in the 100m Breaststroke just being beaten by an older Canadian swimmer.
Earlier in the summer Matthew with two of his swim mates swam at the National Junior Para meet at Southampton all coming away with Medals. Which for Ethan in particular was very pleasing as it was his first major competition.
Matthew is pictured above in his England outfit, with his Silver Medal on the left and along with his swim team mates on the right.
Names from L-R: Andy Harley Coach, Aidan Stanbrook, Ethan Dent & Matthew Davies. All members of Durrington Otters.
