As the US is withdrawing from Afghanistan, US defense officials are calling on the world to help curb the advance of Taliban in the country. Taliban already claimed that it is controlling most of the country. France and US defense chiefs have reiterated their commitment to collaborate against terrorist network since France is also pulling out from the Sahel region in Africa.

Iran Unveils New Weapons, Equipment

The Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has acquired new domestically manufactured weapons and equipment and displayed its new precision-guided missiles and various long-range combat and reconnaissance drones during a ceremony.

It also unveiled upgraded anti-tank missiles capable of destroying stationary and moving targets within a range of 10 kilometers using thermal and laser detectors.

  • LGC Global Inc. was awarded a $12,949,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a nuclear command, control and communications support war reserve material storage/shipping facility.
