Ausland Group’s Team Compensation Philosophy

Ausland is committed to providing a highly competitive compensation program to attract, retain and reward our high-performing employees at all levels. We are proudly recognized by places such as WorkSource Oregon and SOREDI as a top-paying employer for our region and we want to build on that momentum. Moving forward, we are formalizing an annual cycle for evaluating pay increases and bonuses to provide our team members with a fair and predictable process.

First, for employees who have not yet had a raise in 2019, you will receive a merit-based pay increase effective August 1st. For all of you who already received a raise in 2019, thank you for continuing the great work and we have a gift for you in the mail!   

Below is an outline on our compensation philosophy:

Pay Increases will be evaluated each July and be commensurate with the employee’s contribution to the success of Ausland Group. Our goal is for every employee to reach the top 90th percentile of compensation for their job position. This can happen as they become a top contributor to Ausland’s vision of “World Class, Locally Scaled.”

Discretionary Bonuses are evaluated at the year’s end after evaluation of the profitability of Ausland and each individual’s contribution to success.

Promotions will continue to be encouraged that result in both pay and job duty growth throughout the year. We want every employee to develop a career growth plan with their manager. We believe that planning your career is key for both personal and professional fulfillment. 

Benefits paid for by Ausland provide on average a compensation of 30% above and beyond your direct wage or salary! This includes health insurance, immediate care coverage, vehicles, SWAG, birthday and anniversary rewards, ACE-sponsored activities and other perks. Already in 2019, we have increased your compensation with benefits by more than 5%!  

Work environment is a key benefit that we do not quantify in dollars but are committed to making a tremendous investment in both the headquarters and Eugene office.  We are proud of our work environments that foster health, collaboration and world-class development!

Performance Assessments are nearly complete. It is our intention that they will occur biannually. Coming soon: peer evaluations to help each other grow and succeed!
