Social Tours Programme

Rome, Italy's capital, is a sprawling, cosmopolitan city with nearly 3,000 years of globally influential art, architecture and culture on display. In order to indulge in Rome's wonders during your participation in EPTDA's Annual Convention, the association is inviting all spouses to attend a tailor-made social tours' programme including a visit to the Imperial Forums, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum (on Thursday, September 21, 09:30 - 12:30) and to the Vatican Museums (on Friday, September 21, 09:30 - 12:30).

For the convention delegates who wish to join their spouses in exploring Rome, the EPTDA organized a special full-day social tour on Saturday, September 22 (09:00 - 16:00) to the Villa Medici and Quirinale Palace.

EPTDA's 2nd Regional Conference Highlighted the Ongoing Challenges of Counterfeit Goods

The latest EPTDA Regional Conference was hosted at SKF's UK headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Luton, where the prevalent issue of counterfeit goods was highlighted as a particular challenge that the PT/MC industry is facing.

Representatives of both SKF and the EPTDA agreed that global collaborative efforts are imperative to mitigate the negative implications of counterfeit products for PT/MC distributors, manufacturers and end-customers.

5 New Members Joined EPTDA

EPTDA's total membership is reaching new heights, with 5 new members joining before the summer break: 2 distributors, 2 manufacturers and 1 associate-member, bringing the total membership to 259.

The Voice of the EPTDA End-User Video Now Available to Watch Under the Members' Area of the EPTDA Website

During the 2016 EPTDA Annual Convention in Berlin, the Know Your Market Committee in association with E=T2I launched the new The Voice of the End-User project. The project will have as results a diversity of ideas, allowing EPTDA Member companies to better understand the end-users and their needs, raising awareness of EPTDA among end-users, and ensuring a better collaboration while increasing the potential for business development.

The Latest From EPTDA's Market Intelligence Reports

The Q2-2017 Economic Market Forecast report is advising that the Europe Leading Indicator is rising, which indicates rise in Europe Industrial Production through at least the end of 2017. During the 12 months through February, the Europe Industrial Production was up 1.4% compared to the year-ago level. Eastern Europe Industrial Production is expanding at a greater pace than Western Europe Industrial Production, up 3.1% and 1.2% year over year, respectively.

The latest issue of the EPTDA Bi-Monthly Economic Report is elaborating on the Industrial Production growth, showing that Manufacturing Production will generally expand. Building Permits for Construction, both residential and non-residential, are expanding. Motor Vehicle Production is at a record-high level. The Retail Trade Index is also at a record-high level, and the consumer strength will contribute to a vast amount of segments in the Europe economy.

Registration for the NIBA/PTDA Joint Industry Summit Is Now Open
