Dear URBAN-EU-CHINA stakeholders,

Since we started our platform on 1 January 2017, we have had the pleasure of meeting with numerous cities, industries, organisations and researchers all eager to share their experiences in creating sustainable cities in EU and China – for better or worse.
Some of the main lessons learned is that building up a proper cooperation on the ground takes time and patience before the outcomes become tangiblebut when they do, the results can be extremely rewarding in terms of better quality of life for local communities, better accessibility to low-carbon urban services, successful partnerships between public and private partners, and better functioning urban infrastructure.
We have started to document these collaborations and their impact, and in early 2018 you will be able to see the results in our online Evidence Base.

We hope that you in 2018 will help us showcase this critical mass of committed projects and people in large and small cities across China and Europe, so we can learn from each other faster and build a better future together.

We wish everyone relaxing holidays, and look forward to working with you in 2018!
